Pete Wentz explains choice of baby name

He confirms his son's middle name was taken from 'The Jungle Book'

Pete Wentz explains choice of baby name

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has given his first interview since becoming a dad last week, and explained the choice of his son's name – or at least the middle name.

As previously reported, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz gave birth to Bronx Mowgli Wentz on November 21, and Pete Wentz told Ryan Seacrest that the pair thought about the name Bronx for a while, adding the name Mowgli because he and his wife are fans of 'The Jungle Book'.

"We came up with the idea Bronx, we'd been throwing it back and forth a while ago," Wentz said "[and] 'The Jungle Book' is something me and Ashlee bonded over. It's really cool."

Wentz revealed he's already changed some "exploding" diapers, and said that he fell "instantly in love” with his five-day-old son.
