'Festival ticket scammers' arrested

Five people have been charged with failing to supply tickets

Five people have been arrested in London for allegedly taking part in a ticketing scam that left thousands fans without tickets they had paid for.

It is alleged that Xclusive Tickets Ltd and Xclusive Leisure and Hospitality Ltd took payment for tickets for events, including UK music festivals and the Beijing Olympic Games.

According to the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) over 4,000 fans were allegedly scammed.

The Metropolitan Police raided homes and a business on Tuesday night (November 25), arresting four men and a woman in relation to the alleged crimes. They were released on bail after questioning, reports BBC 6music.

The SFO are asking any people who bought tickets from the companies but never received them to contact them at Sfo.gov.uk.

ha ha ha ha ha ha!! This makes me so happy. Xclusive tickets cost me £300 pound for Reading Festival tickets. I then had to queue for 6 and a half hours at Reading to get one. So much time and money down the drain. Lock them up and throw away the key I say... well, at least give them a big prison sentence. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Yes! Justice! I had to get a ticket which cost me £300 from ebay 5 days before the event when these motherfuckers ripped me off, had i not been able to get that ticket it would have been quite possibly the end of the world. Well it would have ruined August thats for sure.
