Benazir Bhutto's daughter in rap tribute to her mother
Teenage daughter of assassinated Pakistan leader raps about mother's death
The 18-year-old daughter of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has posted a YouTube rap tribute towards her mother, who was assassinated in December 2007.
In the song, Bakhtawar Bhutto, who is studying at Edinburgh University, goes into detail about her thoughts regarding her mother's death, which has left Pakistan in the midst of a political crisis.
The homemade track has been played regularly on state-run television in Pakistan, reports BBC News.
With a style similar in sound to much of Kanye West's output, the untitled song has Bhutto rapping over the top of a sped-up sample.
Song lyrics include: "A bullet in the back of your head/You were never afraid/You didn't even duck down/Grinning even when you lay/Still looked like you were sleeping/Putting flowers on your grave/The whole world was weeping".
