Zavvi closes 17 more stores
Zavvi has announced the closure of 17 stores across the UK today (February 5).

The entertainment retailer went into administration on Christmas Eve, as a result of the collapse of Woolworths and Entertainment UK.

Zavvi has now shut 72 of its stores in total, with BBC News reporting that the latest batch of closures has resulted in 242 jobs being lost.

In total, 1,068 former Zavvi employees have now lost their jobs.

The remaining 31 Zavvi stores are currently still open for business.
