Radiohead, Coldplay, Robert Plant big winners at 2009 Grammys

Radiohead, Coldplay and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss were among the winners at the 51st Grammy Awards in Los Angeles yesterday (February 9).
Coldplay won the Best Rock Album Award for their album, 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends' and the Song Of The Year for 'Viva La Vida'.
Radiohead won the Best Alternative Album Award for their record, 'In Rainbows'. They alsoperformed '15 Step' at the ceremony, and were introduced by actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Chris Brown and girlfriend Rihanna, however, both cancelled their performances as Brown turned himself in to police
with regards to a "domestic violence felony". He has been released on bail.
Other big winners were Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, who won the Album Of The Year award for 'Raising Sand'. They also bagged the Record Of The Year gong for 'Please Read The Letter'.
Daft Punk won the Electronic/Dance Album award for their live effort 'Alive 2007'.

Best Hard Rock Performance: The Mars Volta – 'Wax Simulacra'
Best Metal Performance: Metallica – 'My Apocalypse'
Best Rap Solo Performance: Lil Wayne – 'A Milli'
Best Rap Album: Lil Wayne – 'Tha Carter III'
