'Britain's Got Talent'-winning dance troupe Diversity are set to appear in 'Street Dance' - the first British film to be shot in 3D.

The team, alongside fellow TV contest finalists Flawless, were approached to be in the movie after they were spotted last year by the film's producers at the UK Street Dance Championships.

"I immediately started talking to them about being in the film since I felt they represented the very best of British street dance," said producer James Richardson.

The film begins shooting in August and tells the story of a street dance crew who have to work alongside ballet dancers, reports BBC News.

Diversity have also been enlisted to play London's Wireless Festival on July 5. The eleven-strong team will be performing on the same day as Kanye West, Kelly Rowland and Noisettes.

Diversity beat Scottish singer Susan Boyle in the 'Britain's Got Talent' final on Saturday (May 29). On Sunday (May 30) Boyle was admitted to private hospital The Priory in London, suffering from exhaustion.
