Isle Of Wight festival halts ticket sales

Some tickets have been held back to sell on the door

Pre-sale tickets for the Isle Of Wight festival have sold-out, with on-the-door tickets the only type now available, it was announced today (June 8).

Organisers of the bash, set to take place this weekend (June 12-14), have halted sales of tickets, revealing in a statement that they are retaining a limited number of tickets to sell upon entry to the event in an effort to combat ticket touting.

The festival will be headlined by The Prodigy, Stereophonics and Neil Young.

Ill second that cowie86.5 years ago, now the brats are old enough we pledged,to see all the bands we wanted to before,we looked like the oldest giggers in town.Done the Who, Pumpkins,Rage,ACDC(5 times) and the other 150 bands plus.We only got the Pixies left to do now,so they better had do summat else other the IOW
