Vibe Magazine to be relaunched without Quincy Jones

Hip-hop mag to make less frequent comeback

Vibe Magazine to be relaunched without Quincy Jones
Vibe Magazine is set to be re-launched later this year as an online lifestyle resource.

The hip-hop monthly was founded by legendary producer Quincy Jones in 1993, and folded in June after struggling with the ever-changing media market.

InterMedia Partners have purchased the brand, and plan to relaunch it through the creation of a "Vibe lifestyle network", reports allhiphop.com.

It is set to be relaunched officially in November or December of this year.

The magazine will also resume printing next year, but will come out quarterly instead of monthly.
