Soulja Boy arrested at video shoot
Rapper charged with obstruction by police
Rapper Soulja Boy has been arrested following an incident at a ‘video shoot’ in Georgia.
The 'Crank That' star, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was detained and charged with obstruction after police were called to abandoned house late on Wednesday night following complaints about the apparent party.
According to the Associated Press, most of the 40 people assembled at the house fled as soon as officers arrived. However, Cortez returned to the house and told them that the crowd was shooting a music video.
He was then charged with obstruction and bonded out of Henry County jail the following day.
