JLS beat Robbie Williams to top of album chart

Boy band beat singer by around 2,000 copies

JLS have beaten Robbie Williams to the top of the UK albums chart today (November 15) with their self-titled debut album.

The boyband's effort out-sold Williams' new effort 'Reality Killed The Video Star' by around 2,000 copies, leaving the former Take That member at Number Two in the chart.

Elsewhere in the chart Biffy Clyro went in at Number Eight with their new album 'Only Revolutions'.

In the singles stakes Black Eyed Peas rose to the top spot with 'Meet Me Halfway', with Leona Lewis going in at Number Two with 'Happy'.

UK singles chart Top Ten:

3. JLS – 'Everybody In Love'
4. Cheryl Cole – 'Fight For This Love'

Blimey, RW's gonna have to work for this one, especially if he isn't touring, which is ridiculous for someone of his popularity. JLS have done loads of promotion and had 2 hit singles, fair play to them.
