Chuck Berry has postponed his forthcoming UK tour.

The move comes after the legendary blues guitarist recently cancelled a gig at The Troxy in London on November 28.

He was due to play a number of shows starting in Liverpool on Saturday (November 21), but they have now been pushed back to March 2010.

Promoters cited "a lack of lead-in time to prepare the marketing and advertising for what promises to be a great rock'n'roll tour". Ticket holders have been advised their tickets will still be valid for the March dates.
