Apple giving away $10,000 to celebrate ten-billionth iTunes customer

Company also reveals their Top 25 downloaded songs of all time

Apple have announced that to celebrate their ten-billionth download via their iTunes store, that they are giving away a $10,000 iTunes gift-voucher.

Currently 55-million downloads short of the landmark amount, users can enter by either downloading a song from the iTunes store or by filling in a free-entry form via Apple.com/iTunes.

As part of the celebration, Apple have also revealed the Top 25 downloaded songs via iTunes, since the store opened back in 2001.

Topping the list was Black Eyed Peas' 'I Gotta Feeling', followed by Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face' and Black Eyed Peas' 'Boom Boom Pow' coming in third.

The Top 25 downloaded songs on iTunes is:

1. Black Eyed Peas - 'I Gotta Feeling'
2. Lady GaGa - 'Poker Face'
3. Black Eyed Peas - 'Boom Boom Pow'
4. Jason Mraz - 'I'm Yours'
5. Coldplay - 'Viva la Vida'
6. Lady GaGa - 'Just Dance'
7. Flo Rida (feat. T-Pain) - 'Low '
8. Taylor Swift - 'Love Story'
9. Leona Lewis - 'Bleeding Love'
10. Ke$ha - 'TiK ToK'
11. Rihanna - 'Disturbia'
12. Pink - 'So What'
13. Katy Perry - 'I Kissed a Girl'
14. Beyoncé - 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)'
15. Katy Perry - 'Hot N Cold'
16. Kanye West - 'Stronger'

What a depressing list. I'm surprised Apple publicise this because it makes it apparent that if you download from ITunes you're a moron. But at 79p a track that was already obvious to most people.
