'Inglourious Basterds' wins Best Film at Shockwaves NME Awards
Quentin Tarantino wins ahead of 'In The Loop' and 'Where The Wild Things Are'
Quentin Tarantino's box office smash Inglorious Basterds has been revealed as Best Film award winner at the Shockwaves NME Awards tonight (February 24).
The film, which stars Brad Pitt spearheading a group of American Jewish soldiers reaping bloody revenge on Nazis, beat off competition from In The Loop and 500 Days Of Summer, with the ceremony taking place at London's O2 Brixton Academy.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Where The Wild Things Are, the latter of which Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O soundtracked, were also nominated.
