Refused 'not reforming' according to frontman Dennis Lyxzen
Singer denies earlier reports that the group are getting back together
In an email sent to BuddyHead.com, the frontman confirmed the hardcore punk band aren't getting back together.
"No, we are not reforming," Lyxzen revealed. "Me and David [Sandström] are going on tour next week with our new Hardcore band Ac4 – sleeping on kids floors and playing doordeals, that seems to be more in line with what we deserve."
As previously reported, the Swedish group seemed to be on the verge of reforming, after a message on their official site officialrefused.com said: 'Refused, coming soon...'.
Originally forming in 1991, the punk outfit split in 1998, after releasing five EPs and three albums - 'This Just Might Be The Truth' (1994), 'Songs To Fan The Flames Of Discontent' (1996), and 'The Shape Of Punk To Come: A Chimerical Bombination In 12 Bursts' (1998).
