Crystal Castles, LCD Soundsystem, Karen Elson and Gil Scott-Heron are among the acts who have had to cancel gigs due to the volcanic ash from an erruption Iceland closing UK airspace.

Toronto duo Crystal Castles' London show, set to take place at the Heaven tomorrow (April 20), has been postponed until May 19. Original tickets will be valid for the new date.

LCD Soundsystem have cancelled two shows at the Dublin Tripod (20-21).

Karen Elson's appearance at the Slaughtered Lamb pub in east London tonight (19) is also off, but will also be rescheduled.

Scott-Heron's 'in conversation' show at London's Royal Festival Hall this evening has also been cancelled. It has not been confirmed whether it will be rescheduled or not yet.
