London venue XOYO moves gigs as opening night is delayed
New London venue XOYO has been forced to move two of the nights it was due to host after its grand opening was aborted yesterday (September 15) at the last minute.

The Shoreditch venue's launch party was shelved just hours before doors were due to open.

Organisers insisted "unforeseen technical issues" prevented the event from going ahead, while one eyewitness who visited the venue told NME that it still resembled "a building site" in the build-up.

As a result tonight's (16) Dan Deacon show has been moved to Fabric, while Friday's (17) Rockfeedback night will take place at Electrowerkz in Islington.

However, XOYO is finally set to open its doors, with club night Bugged Out! set to stage its opening night on Saturday 18, with Simian Mobile Disco and Friendly Fires among those DJing.
