Tickets for this year's Reading And Leeds Festivals are set to go on general sale on March 21 at 7pm (GMT).

The event takes place on August 26-28 on both sites. The first line-up announcement will coincide with tickets going on sale.

Details of the headliners, like the rest of the line-up, are under wraps until then. However, festival chief Melvin Benn has ruled out big names including Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, System Of A Down, Linkin Park and Slipknot for headline slots.

Last year Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink-182 headlined the events, while The Libertines reformed to play them.
