Line up for events' Alternative Stage takes shape

Mark Watson, Saul Williams, Tom Deacon for Reading And Leeds Festivals

Mark Watson, Saul Williams and Tom Deacon have been announced as part of the comedy and spoken-word line-up for the Alternative Stage at this year's Reading And Leeds Festivals.

Funnyman Watson hosted the Shockwaves NME Awards in 2009 and will bring his stand-up to the festivals. Also newly-confirmed to play the events are Late Night Gimp Fight, Josh Widdicombe, Craig Campbell, Tom Deacon, Steve Hughes, Marlon Davis, Brigitte Aphrodite and Popcorn Comedy.
