With five days to go until the start of the Isle Of Wight and Download Festivals (June 10 – 12), NME has the latest weather reports.

According to Metcheck, the weather on the Isle Of Wight will be sunny throughout most of Friday and Saturday, with just a few light showers on Friday afternoon and a high temperature of 15°c. It will stay this way throughout Sunday right up until the evening, when light showers are predicted, so bring your waterproofs for Kasabian's closing set.

The outlook for Download Festival is less promising, with showers forecast for both Friday and Saturday. It is predicted to clear up on Sunday though, so Linkin Park's headline set will hopefully be rain free.

For those heading to the Arctic Monkeys' shows at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium on Friday and Saturday, it's even less encouraging news. Although the shows are set to take place under cover in a specially erected tent, you best wrap up warm as temperatures are estimated to drop to as low as 1°c. It'll be warmer on Saturday, a predicted 10°c, but it is also scheduled to rain heavily so pack an umbrella for the walk home.

Keep checking NME.COM throughout the week for weather updates ahead of the weekend's events.
