The weather forecast for this weekend's T In The Park has improved, with the festival's opening day (July 8) now predicted to be dry.

But it's not all good news, according to Metcheck Friday's sets, including those of Arctic Monkeys, The View and Plan B, will stay dry, but acts on Saturday (July 10) and Sunday (July 11) will have to put up with non-stop showers.

This means that raincoats will be required for sets from Coldplay and Beyonce, as will the closing performances of Pulp and Foo Fighters.

Temperatures, meanwhile, look set to stay at an even 17 degrees Celsius throughout the weekend.

T In The Park takes place this weekend (July 8-10), and will be headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Foo Fighters.
