Rick Ross has assured fans he's "stronger than he's ever been" after recently suffering two seizures in one day.

The hip-hop star was admitted to hospital in Birmingham, Alabama after two mid-air seizures while flying from Florida to Tennessee on October 14.

The double health scare prompted him to scrap a series of concerts to allow him time to recover, but Ross has now returned to Twitter to tell fans he's feeling good.

He wrote: "The boss back. Stronger than I've ever been.. Richer than I ever wuz."

Meanwhile, his rap protege Wale is blaming Ross' hectic workload for the health crisis, suggesting the 'Aston Martin Music' star has been suffering from a serious lack of sleep.

In an interview with New York's Hot 97 radio on Thursday (October 27), Wale told DJ Angie Martinez: "He's good. He just needs to get some rest. He's been working, he's been working himself real, real hard.

"When you don't sleep for a week, almost, four days, five days, you'd be surprised what could happen to you, how this thing could take a toll on you when you don't sleep."
