The Weeknd is advertising for musicians for his live backing band on his Facebook page, fuelling rumours he's set to announce his first proper tour.
The shadowy Canadian singer - real name Abel Tesfaye - states that he's looking for a "professional guitarist and bass player in the Toronto area to travel and perform live in concert" in the listing.
He asks for "serious enquiries only" and requests YouTube footage and a photograph of applicants "if possible".
Applicants have until Sunday (January 8) to stake their claim for a place in the band by emailing The Weeknd's personal email address.
The singer, the subject of a growing online buzz over the past year, released three mixtapes as free downloads in 2011 - 'House Of Balloons', 'Thursday' and 'Echos Of Silence'. He's set to re-release the trilogy as a remastered package, along with his debut album proper, later this year.
The Weeknd has also guested on 'Crew Love', a track by fellow Canadian Drake, who has been partly credited for raising awareness of Tesfaye's music through his Twitter account.
