Bestival organiser Rob da Bank has spoken about the festival's third headliner, which he has said will be announced in the coming weeks.

The festival has so far announced Stevie Wonder and New Order as its headliners and da Bank has told NME that quite a few of the users on the event's messageboards have correctly guessed who the other headliner will be.

Responding to a question about whether he had secured a third headliner, da Bank said: "The third headliner is done and dusted, but we're going to wait a while to announce them. There's quite a lot of people who've guessed right about who it is on our message boards, but I won't say anymore than that."

Asked how he goes about putting together the bill for the festival, da Bank revealed that he feels he is "quite selfish" when it comes to choosing which acts to book, but that he's always looking to keep things diverse.

Asked how he puts the bill together, he replied: "I'm quite selfish with the acts that I book. I book acts that I would like to see and hope everyone else wants to see them too. I like to keep things diverse and I think there's quite a lot of people who have similar tastes to mine. Hip-hop, pop, drum n'bass, rock, I'll have it all. I'm not fussy."

Other artists confirmed for this year's Bestival include Friendly Fires, Death In Vegas, Django Django, The xx, Sigur Ros, The Horrors. Two Door Cinema Club, Azealia Banks, Soulwax, Nero, Emeli Sande, Warpaint, Spiritualized, Gary Numan, Charli XCX, First Aid Kit, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Turbowolf, De La Soul, Major Lazer, Justice and Gallows.

Bestival will take place from September 6–9 at Robin Hill Park on the Isle Of Wight. For more information about the event, see Bestival.net.
