Following the unveiling of NME's 100 Best Tracks of the Noughties, a host of NME's favourite acts have chosen their own best songs of the noughties. Watch the video above to see the likes of Alabama Shakes, Metronomy, Tribes and Maximo Park name their favourite songs from the last decade.

Both Regina Spektor and Two Door Cinema Club chose songs by The Strokes for the list, with Spektor picking 'Someday' and Two Door Cinema Club naming 'New York City Cops' alongside 'Rolodex Propaganda' by At The Drive-In as their favourite songs of the noughties.

Gary Jarman of The Cribs also looked to New York for inspiration, naming anti-folk musician Jeffrey Lewis [pictured right] and his track 'The Last Time I Did Acid I Went Insane' as his favourite song of the 2000's.

Metronomy, Azealia Banks and We Are Scientists all chose pop tracks, with Britney Spears' 'Toxic' scoring Metronomy's vote while Banks went for Rihanna's 'Only Girl In The World' and We Are Scientists tipped their caps to 'California Gurls' by Katy Perry.

Meanwhile, Alabama Shakes picked Outkast's 'Gangsta Shit' while Tribes chose 'Up The Bracket' by The Libertines and Maximo Park went for 'Naked As We Came' by Iron and Wine.
