Emily Eavis has dismissed the rumours surrounding the identity of this years Glastonbury headliners as "nonsense".

The festival has yet to reveal who will headline on any of the three nights this year leading the rumour mill to land upon increasingly unusual names for this year's event. Alongside the likes of Arctic Monkeys and The Rolling Stones, recent rumours have included Mariah Carey and Rihanna being suggested as potential Pyramid Stage toppers. Clearly frustrated with the whispers, Emily Eavis last night (March 13) wrote on Twitter: "Three nonsense headliner stories in a week, all completely untrue. Real news will be with you soon!"

The only acts confirmed for Glastonbury so far will appear on the newly renamed for 2013 Dance Village. Now known as
Silver Hayes, the area takes its name from one of the oldest meadows on Worthy Farm and will see acts playing the new 7,000-capacity Sonic supertent. In addition to the Sonic tent there will be the Wow Stage, which will feature new and smaller acts and a brand new installation named Gully. Gully is described as "combining an open air stage and a pulsating street of sound systems and stalls featuring the best new DJs, MCs and live music".

US rapper Nas is the first name confirmed to headline the Sonic tent with Disclosure, Hot Natured, David Rodigan, Sub Focus, AlunaGeorge, Eats Everything, Rudimental and The Congos also confirmed to appear across Silver Hayes throughout the weekend.
