Another Level man Dane Bowers has pleaded 'not guilty' to two charges of assault following an alleged brawl at Butlins holiday camp last month in Bognor Regis.

Bowers appeared at Worthing Magistrates' Court earlier today (May 13). BBC News reports that he was released on bail with two others until the trial, which takes place at Chichester Crown Court on October 29.

The alleged brawl took place at the holiday camp on April 20. Bowers was charged with assault along with his brother, Wade, and friend Terry Kean. Kean and Wade Bowers were also charged with possession of cocaine. A source at the holiday centre told the Mirror: "Dane was working as a DJ. The place was packed."

Bowers kept his Twitter followers updated throughout the night the incident took place and also seemed to hint at having run into trouble with security at the venue, who he accused of being on a "power trip". One tweet from the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant read: "I had the whole club doing the Butlins Harlem Shake!!!!! Gonna post the video on YouTube." You can see another below:

Last year Dane Bowers faced trial for racially-aggravated assault as well as another incident which saw him arrested on conspiracy to rape in April of the same year.
