BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac gives birth to baby son
Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac has given birth to her first son, confirming the news on Facebook and Twitter yesterday (May 20).

She wrote that her and her boyfriend Toddla T had a "very special delivery" and that the child was a boy. The couple were immediately congratulated by friends from across the radio and dance music communities including Disclosure, Greg James, Annie Nightingale, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Rob da Bank.

The Irish DJ last appeared on Radio 1 on Sunday, May 11, presenting her Sunday night programme between 10pm and 12pm. She is the third Radio 1 DJ to give birth in 2013 following the arrival of Fearne Cotton's son Rex in February and Edith Bowman giving birth to boy Spike in the same month.
