Icona Pop's 'I Love It' set for Number One on Official Singles Chart
Meanwhile, Tom Odell is on course to debut at Number One on the Official Albums Chart
The Swedish duo's pop banger, which features British singer Charli XCX, is 11,000 copies ahead of its nearest rival, 'Blurred Lines' by Robin Thicke, according to the latest figures from the Official Charts Company. 'Blurred Lines' has spent the last four weeks in the top spot but its reign will almost certainly come to an end this Sunday (June 30).
Meanwhile, boyband The Wanted are on course for a top three debut with their new single 'Walks Like Rihanna'. Right behind in fourth is William's latest track 'Bang Bang', which makes a giant leap from its Sunday position outside the Top 40.
Over on the Official Albums Chart, Tom Odell is on course to enter at Number One with his debut set 'Long Way Down'. At present, Odell's LP has sold almost as many copies as the rest of the Top Five combined, the OCC reports. Passenger's 'All The Little Lights' currently sits in second place, followed by Rod Stewart's 'Time' in third.
Kanye West's 'Yeezus', which debuted at Number One on Sunday (June 23), has slipped to fourth. Outside of the Top 10, Empire Of The Sun are currently heading for a Top 15 entry with their second album 'Ice On The Dune'.
