Pop supergroup McBusted, the combination of members of Busted and McFly, will make their TV debut on Children In Need this week.

The group will play a medley of their songs on the live TV telethon this Friday (November 15) alongside fellow musical guests One Direction, JLS and viral hit 'The Fox', by Ylvis. Dido will sing her song 'Thank You' while Wet Wet Wet will perform 'Love is All Around' for the first time in 10 years.

Earlier this week McBusted announced tour dates for April and May 2014. The band said the tour will consist of both bands performing as one, playing the biggest hits from both back catalogues. The band have also discussed writing new songs together.

Speaking about plans for new music at the London press conference, Tom Fletcher of McFly said: "For now it's just the tour, but if we come up with something and write some songs that we think are incredible, then we'll release it. We're just excited about touring for now and we'll play the rest by ear."

Digital Spy also quotes James Bourne as saying: "The plan is to tour, but there's no plan for new music, but maybe we will because we have written together in the past."

Presale for the McBusted tour begins on November 14. They will play:

Liverpool, Echo Arena (April 19)
Bournemouth, International Centre (21)
Metro Arena, Newcastle (28)
Capital FM Arena, Nottingham (29)
First Direct Arena, Leeds (30)
Birmingham, LG Arena (May 3)
Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield (4)
Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff (6)
Phones4u Arena, Manchester (9)
