Robin Thicke's 'Blured Lines' most popular track on Shazam in 2013

Daft Punk, Avicii, Rihanna and more also appear in music identification service's top 10

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have been revealed as the most streamed artists on Spotify in 2013.

Robin Thicke, Daft Punk and Avicii are among the most tagged artists on Shazam in 2013.

The music identification service has revealed its annual figures with Robin Thicke's single 'Blurred Lines' proving most popular with 17.8m tags in 2014. 'Wake Me Up' by Swedish producer Avicii is second with 14.3 tags. Other artists who appear on the list include Rihanna, Lorde, Passenger and Pink.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis appear twice on the list with their tracks 'Thrift Shop' and 'Can't Hold Us'. Earlier this week it was revealed that the pair's track 'Can't Hold Us' was also the most popular song on the music streaming service Spotify in 2013 and their debut LP 'The Heist' was the most streamed album.

Shazam currently has 400 million people using the service globally, with more than 15 million Shazams made every day.

The top ten most-tagged tracks on Shazam in 2013 are as follows:
