Voting for NME's Ultimate Music Moment Of 2013 opens
Your winner will be announced at the NME Awards 2014 with Austin, Texas
From the emergence of huge new artists like Lorde, Disclosure and Kendrick Lamar or the returns of David Bowie, Eminem, My Bloody Valentine, Pixies and Daft Punk you can vote for the musical moment which meant the most to you in the past twelve months. Whether it's the festival headline set that defined your summer or crazy moments from headline-grabbing artists such as Kanye West, Miley Cyrus or Lily Allen, you can vote for your favourite.

On February 26, 2014 at London's O2 Academy Brixton the great and good of the music world will gather to find out who's taking a fist shaped finger-flexing statue from the NME Awards 2014 with Austin, Texas.
You can vote in a total of 21 categories now, including Best British Band, Best Album, Best Live Band and Best International Band supported by Austin, Texas. See below for the full list of categories and head to NME.COM/awards to vote and for more information.
From your nominations we'll compile a shortlist for each category. The winners will then be decided in a second vote on NME.COM in the new year. Voting closes in January 2014.
Among last year's big winners were Biffy Clyro, The Killers and Johnny Marr, who picked up the Godlike Genius Award.
