New Reading and Leeds Festivals line-up additions revealed

Childhood, The Wytches, Red Fang and The Bohicas will be playing the event in August

A host of new additions to the bills of the Reading and Leeds Festivals have been announced.

Red Fang and The Wytches have been added to the NME/Radio 1 Stage, which will be headlined by The Courteeners, Bombay Bicycle Club and Disclosure. Childhood, Sweethead, Dolomite Minor, The Bohicas, The Royal Concept, X Ambassadors, Flyte and Twisted Wheel are new additions to the Festival Republic Stage, which will be headlined by Palma Violets, Band Of Skulls and Augustines. The festival takes place August 22-24.

Sinead Harnett, Sasha Keable, Mirror Signal, Bad Rabbits, Star.One and Tinashe are new on the BBC Radio 1 Xtra Stage alongside previously announced headline acts Giggs, Pusha T, Danny Brown and Joey Bada$$.

New additions to the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage line-up include Secondcity, Zinc, Milky Chance, We Were Evergreen, Nightbox and The Tea Street Band while the Lock Up stage will see sets from Empress AD, Misty Miller and Blacklist Royals.



Paramore, Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182 will headline Reading and Leeds Festivals 2014. It will be both Queens Of The Stone Age and Paramore's only UK festival appearances of the summer.
