Julian Casablancas and Kele Okereke lead this week's list of new album releases (October 13).

'Tyranny' is The Strokes frontman's first album with new band The Voidz and follows his 2009 solo album 'Phrazes For The Young'.

The LP will come out on Casablancas' own Cult Records. The Voidz consist of Jeramy Gritter and Amir Yaghmai on guitar, Jeff Kite on keyboards, Jake Bercovici on bass and Alex Carapetis on drums. The record was produced by Shawn Everett.

Speaking about the album title, Casablancas previously commented: "Tyranny has come in many forms throughout history. Now, the good of business is put above anything else, as corporations have become the new ruling body. Most decisions seem to be made like ones of a medieval king: whatever makes profit while ignoring and repressing the truth about whatever suffering it may cause (like pop music, for that matter)."

'Tyranny' tracklist:

'Take Me In Your Army'
'Crunch Punch'
'M.utually A.ssured D.estruction'
'Human Sadness'
'Where No Eagles Fly'
'Father Electricity'
'Johan Von Bronx'
'Business Dog'
Xerox'
'Dare I Care'
'Nintendo Blood'
'Off To War…'

Meanwhile, Kele Okereke releases his second solo album 'Trick'. The album follows the 2010 release of 'The Boxer' and sees the singer return to dance music after reuniting Bloc Party and releasing 'Four' with the band in 2012. The first single to be taken from the album was 'Doubt'.

Elsewhere, there are new records from The 2 Bears, Foxygen, Jessie Ware, Kindness and Ex Hex, while U2's 'Songs of Innocence' is officially released.

U2 and Apple 'gifted' 500 million iTunes users with their new album without consent in September. The move sparked widespread controversy. Following complaints over the unconventional release of 'Songs Of Innocence', Apple released a tool to allow its customers to remove 'Songs Of Innocence' from their devices with just one click.
