Caribou and Patti Smith have been added to the line-up for next year's Field Day festival.

Patti Smith and her band will play the 1975 album 'Horses' in full on the Sunday of the two-day festival, which takes place between June 6-7. As previously revealed, Ride will headline that day as part of their 2015 reunion tour. 'Horses' turns 40 next year.

A raft of new artists have also been added to the bill for Sunday alongside Ride and Patti Smith with New York band DIIV due to perform alongside Ducktails, Jane Weaver and Liverpool band Outfit.

Meanwhile, Caribou will headline the Saturday of the festival on a bill which will also see appearances from Django Django, Chet Faker, Owen Pallett, Sophie, Tei Shi, Ten Walls and Kindness. Clark, Daniel Avery, Madlib, Andrew Weatherall and Ghost Culture will also be in attendance on June 6.

The London festival launched in 2007 as a one-dayer and takes place annually in London's Victoria Park. Last year's line-up included performances from headliners Metronomy and Pixies.
