Union J’s Josh Cuthbert has reassured fans that he is well following reports of a car crash in London on Sunday (April 12).

The singer and his girlfriend, model Chloe Lloyd, were driving through London in Cuthbert’s Mercedes when the driver in front of them suddenly came to a halt.

As reported by TMZ, the singer was unable to stop his car in time and ‘slammed into the car’ which caused serious damage to his vehicle.

Cuthbert reassured his fans by posting an image to instagram this morning (April 15), showing him enjoying the sunshine with the caption, ‘The sun is shining.’

Union J entered the ninth series of the X-Factor in 2012, initially performing as trio ‘Triple J.’ The band finished fourth and were signed to RCA Records, releasing their self-titled debut album ‘Union J’ in October 2013. This was followed by second album ‘You Got It All - The Album’ in December 2014.
