Hozier's gig in London tonight has been postponed through illness.

The Irish singer, who broke through in 2014 with the hit single 'Take Me To Church', was due to headline The Forum this evening (June 3) but has had to be postponed after Hozier came down with a very bad throat infection.

The show has been rescheduled for June 30. All existing tickets will be valid for the new date. Refunds will be issued, from point of purchase, to those unable to attend the new date.

A statement from the singer's label confirms that, "Hozier would like to apologise to all those who were due to attend tonight’s concert and for any inconvenience caused, and hopes that everyone is able to make it to the rearranged date."

The Forum gig was due to be Hozier's third London show of the week following gigs at Roundhouse and Shepherd’s Bush Empire over the past two nights.

Hozier released his debut album in September 2014 and was recently among the musicians to celebrate as Ireland voted to make gay marriage legal.
