The majority of festival-goers have started to ascend on Glastonbury Festival for this year's event.

The Worthy Farm festival kicked off on Wednesday (June 24) in Pilton, Somerset, with some entertainment beginning on Thursday (June 25).

Scheduled musical performances start on Friday (June 26), but secret sets are known to take place on the Thursday leg each year. The Charlatans' Tim Burgess has hinted at a possible Glastonbury secret set.

Glastonbury Festival 2015 will run until June 28, headlined by Kanye West, The Who and Florence And The Machine, the latter replacing Foo Fighters, who were forced to cancel last week.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters recently defended Kanye West ahead of his headline slot at Glastonbury this weekend, comparing the rapper with hip-hop veterans Public Enemy.

In a video interview with NME which you can watch below, frontman Dave Grohl said a recent petition against the rapper, which attracted over 133,000 votes, will only help West's cause.

"I don't know that much about Kanye's music but right now Kanye vs Glastonbury is about as close to that old-school [Public Enemy] vibe as you're going to get," he added.

"I don't know who the dude is that started the petition but I think every one of those votes is only fuelling Kanye's fucking fire and it could be the greatest show of all time."
