Scott Weiland pleads innocent to drug charges
Velvet Revolver frontman says he's not guilty
The charges stem from an accident the Velvet Revolver frontman was involved in on a California freeway last November.
Weiland, who has a history of drug-related problems, was arrested after an officer noticed he showed "signs of impairment" and failed sobriety tests.
The singer was not present in the Los Angeles court today, so his plea was entered through his defence attorney, reports the Associated Press.
He is currently free on $40,000 bail and is due to appear in court for a pre-trial hearing on April 4.
