Warpaint played four new songs during their set at End Of The Road festival yesterday (August 31).

The show marked the band's first live performance since taking time away from the spotlight to write and record their forthcoming new album, which is due out in January 2014.

Playing in front of a big crowd, during the afternoon sunshine, the band opened with older track 'Bees', before showcasing new tracks 'Keep It Healthy', 'High', 'Love Is To Die' and 'No Way Out.

Although there was very little crowd interaction from the band, guitarist Theresa Wayman did thank them for their support and added that it was "great to be back out playing again". They finished their short but well-received set with a crowd-pleasing 'Baby'.

Warpaint played:

'Bees'
'Keep It Healthy'
'High'
'Undertow'
'Love Is To Die'
'No Way Out'
'Elephants'
'Krimson'
'Baby'

The US band will return to the UK next month for a run of four shows, performing in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester and London between October 27-30. Starting in Leeds on October 27, the four-piece will then perform at Glasgow's O2 ABC on October 28 and Manchester Academy the following day. The short jaunt will end on October 30 with a big show at London's O2 Academy Brixton.

Warpaint will play:

Leeds O2 Academy (October 27)
Glasgow O2 ABC (28)
Manchester Academy (29)
London O2 Academy Brixton (30)
