Warpaint and Chance The Rapper are among the latest additions to this year's South By Southwest festival.

The US music festival, which takes place between March 11-16 in Austin, Texas, has added a raft of acts to its line-up with Warpaint appearing following the release of their self-titled second album earlier this year. Chance The Rapper, meanwhile, will take time out of making music with new roommate James Blake to perform live.

Other new additions to the line-up include: Kurt Vile, Bob Mould, Madlib, Sam Smith, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Future, Little Dragon, Mark Kozelek, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Christopher Owens, Perfume Genius, Matrimony, Eagulls, The Fresh & Onlys, Mutual Benefit, THEESatisfaction, Deap Vally, Isaiah Rashad, Kevin Gates, Weekend, and Yamantaka//Sonic Titan.

They join previously announced acts Action Bronson, Cherry Glazerr, Chlöe Howl, East India Youth, The Family Rain, Fat White Family, Gang Of Youths, Angel Olsen, The Orwells, Perfect Pussy, San Fermin, Superfood, Sharon Van Etten, Diarrhea Planet, John Newman, Spires, Wolf Alice, Drenge, London Grammar and Bring Me The Horizon. For a full list of bands playing the event, visit SXSW.com.

Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker will also give songwriting tips during a lecture at this year's SXSW. According to SXSW organisers, the talk see him discuss his growth as a musician and "the meaning of artistic vision".

It was revealed last month that Sheffield: Sex City, a documentary about Pulp's final show in 2012, will be screened during the film section of this year's SXSW. Other films to be shown include All Is By My Side, the Jimi Hendrix biopic featuring OutKast's André 3000 as the iconic guitarist, the A$AP Rocky-based SVDDXNLY, and American Interior, a film about Super Furry Animals' frontman Gruff Rhys.
