As Rolling Stone report, Gallagher has dedicated this track to Noel in the past. The opening verse could reference his brother: “When they gave you roses and believed your wild excuses/You were sealing the deal/Halfway down the road and ain’t it funny how the ghosts they fade and suddenly appear?”

Earlier today (May 1) Liam Gallagher confirmed that he’s started work on his second album. The songwriter took to Twitter, writing: “1st session of writing with the mighty Greg Kurstin and Andrew wyatt aka THE ARMY sounding BIBLICAL as you were LG x”

Earlier this year, Gallagher promised that his second album would be “a bit more in-yer-face – less apologetic”.

Speaking to NME in February, Liam said of what to expect from LP 2: “I’d love to do a proper out-and-out punk rock album – a bit Pistols, a bit Stooges. I can do that gear; I can definitely sing ’em. Some of the sing-y songs are a bit of a struggle when I do ’em live. But the lippy ones I can do all day long. The ones where you spit ’em out. You’re not necessarily singing, you’re just f**king screaming and shouting. I’m all for that.”
