We Are Scientists to play New York NME party

[a]We Are Scientists[/B] have been confirmed to play a set at an NME party at the British Consulate in New York City on December 15.

The reception is being held to officially launch Club NME in New York, as well as celebrating NME.COM’s expansion into the US.

Speaking to NME.COM, singer Keith Murray revealed the band plans to perform a rare acoustic set for the occasion.

Club NME’s recent CMJ party saw performances from The Horrors, Office and The Sounds.

The first official night of Club NME in New York is December 16, with very special guests to be announced shortly. Watch this space for more details.
