We Are Scientists have announced that they will release their comeback single on April 5.

The single will be named 'Rules' and will the first to be taken from their forthcoming new album, 'Barbara', set for release in June.

Keith Murray and Chris Cain have recruited former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows for the album. "We wanted a drummer who we would get along with and who would bring a good energy to the recording," Cain told NME.COM.

Other songs set for 'Barbara' include 'I Don't Bite' and 'Foreign Kicks'.

The album will be the band's third – the follow-up to their 2008 effort 'Brain Thrust Mastery'.

We Are Scientists play a sold-out show at London's Hoxton Bar And Grill on February 23.
