Weezer have announced that their forthcoming new album will be self-titled, and will be released on June 16.
The band's frontman Rivers Cuemo has described the new album as being, "Meaty, crunchy and melodic".
The singer/guitarist has not released details of specific tracks on the album, yet, but has previously said that the title of the lead single from 'Weezer' will be, "One word, starts with a 'T', ends with an 'R' and contains 12 letters."
