Weezer have denied rumours that they're recording a new album.
It had been previously reported that the band were to head into the studio next month, but guitarist Brian Bell has now claimed that "someone jumped the gun".
"We're still going to focus on promoting the 'Red' album, and when we have the songs and the time feels right, we'll record [again]," he told spinner.com.
Weezer released their last, self-titled album, nicknamed 'The Red Album', on June 30.
Bell also revealed he was planning to put out an album by his side project The Relationship, but had no definite release date.
"It would be kind of silly to put a timeline on a record that we felt wasn't ready," he said.
