Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has been injured in a bus crash.
The incident happened early Sunday (December 6) morning in the US when the band were travelling from Toronto, Ontario, to Boston, Massachusetts, for a show tomorrow (December 7) at the Agganis Arena at Boston University.
The bus was traveling eastbound on the New York State Thruway near the city of Amsterdam, according to Sgt. Brian Dollard of the New York State Police.
The driver said the back end of the bus slid on ice, hit some reflective posts before crossing back over the highway, going over the guardrail and landing in a ditch.
Cuomo was taken to St. Mary's Hospital after complaining of rib pain along with one other passenger, reports CNN.
The singer's wife, daughter and a fifth passenger were also travelling on the bus but were not injured.
