Weezer played their first gig since their December 6 tour bus crash last night (January 20), playing the Florida State University.

Frontman Rivers Cuomo was one of those injured in the crash last month, suffering a punctured lung and broken ribs.

The band returned to action last night by playing the show, with a band representative posting a message on their official website, Weezer.com. "Well, all I can say right now is wow!" they wrote. "What a crowd, what a show. Incredible energy tonight."

Rivers Cuomo played the show after being given a cautionary bill of good health from a doctor.
