Weezer to release new album in September
The as-yet untitled studio effort is due out on September 13
Weezer have announced that their new album will be released on September 13.
The as-yet untitled LP is the follow-up to 2009's 'Raditude' and will be the Los Angeles group's eighth studio effort.
"I've spent the entire morning trying to come up with a name for the record," frontman Rivers Cuomo told NewsTimes.com."How does 'Heavy Mental' sound? There's definitely going to be more raw rock energy on this one."
As previously reported, the band's new album is set to feature a collaboration with Ryan Adams.
Meanwhile, Weezer will appear at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
