Group will play in Los Angeles and San Francisco in November

Weezer announce initial dates on 'Memories' tour
Weezer have announced details of the initial dates on their upcoming 'Memories' tour.

Beginning at Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheatre, the group will perform their 1994 'Blue' album in full on November 26, followed by 1996's 'Pinkerton' on November 27. Both shows will also feature a selection of the band's greatest hits.

Following the Los Angeles gigs, the band will then do the same at San Francisco's Nob Hill Masonic Center on November 29 and 30.

More dates for the jaunt will be announced shortly. Tickets for the shows go on sale on September 25, for more information, visit Weezer.com.

The band also have a series of previously confirmed gigs in support of their recently released album, 'Hurley'.

Columbus, OH Ohio State University (September 24)
Peoria, IL Bradley University (25)
Atlanta, GA Chastain Park Amphitheatre (30)
Las Vegas, NV Mirage Hotel And Casino (October 1)
New Orleans, LA Voodoo Festival (29)
Los Angeles, CA Gibson Amphitheatre (November 26, 27)
San Francisco, CA Nob Hill Masonic Center (29, 30)
