JOLLY ROGER!

The DJ is set to go straight in at Number One - and Wheatus are doing well too...

HEAR'SAY's reign at the top of the UK single chart looks set to be ended after just one week by dance legend ROGER SANCHEZ.

As reported yesterday on NME.COM, Sanchez' track, titled 'Another Chance', and the new release from Wheatus, 'A Little Respect' were the favourites to become the highest new entries this coming Sunday (July 8).

Now, sales figures compiled up to the close of shopping yesterday (July 2) show that 'Another Chance' is currently the best selling single in the UK, and will be Number One at the weekend if sales trends continue at this rate.

Wheatus look set to have the second highest new entry - 'A Little Respect' is currently at Number Three, with Hear'Say's 'The Way To Your Love' falling three places to Number Four.

A chart expert at HMV in London commented: "It looks promising for Roger Sanchez. The only track that we think has a chance of catching him is Wheatus."

The other new entry in the Top Ten is currently OPM's 'Heaven Is A Half Pipe'. However, a number of new releases are set to chart just outside the Top Ten. Jessica Simpson's 'Irresistable' is at Number 11, Blink-182's 'The Rock Show' is at Number 12 and Damage's 'So What If' is at Number 13.
